Bespoke dog grooming salon providing a quiet and relaxed environment

At Fabulous Fur we understand that all dogs are individuals and have different requirements. Our aim is to give the dogs the most enjoyable experience possible as well as grooming them to the highest standard.

We offer a bespoke professional grooming service for your dog, whether you just want a Bath and Dry or a complete make-over. We are always happy to discuss your grooming requirements, try something ‘a little different’, or advise on what we think would suit your dog and lifestyle choice.

With only one dog in the salon for each appointment, we ensure our guests get individual attention - with lots of treats. We have specialist equipment so love being able to accept all breeds.

Guests can be dropped off and collected throughout the day at your convenience. We have a secure kennel as well as an enclosed indoor and outdoor facilities incase you need to leave your dog a little longer. These are the same facilities for our Mowthorpe Hill Dog Boarding.

Is your dog nervous of being groomed?

Many dogs find the grooming experience a little daunting and there are various methods I use to help to overcome this.

I encourage the owner to stay with their dog if we both feel it will help to make the dog more confident. I also use treats throughout the session to reward and make it more pleasurable for the dog.

But the most helpful thing I have found is to give really nervous dogs a Reiki treatment. I am a level 2 Reiki practitioner and use Reiki on my dogs and horses. A Reiki treatment really relaxes the animals and can turn a worrying experience into a pleasant one.
